H&S Guidelines PLEASE READ

GENERAL RULES

  • All participants must follow instructions provided by staff and displayed within the facility.

  • Any behaviour that risks damage to property, disrupts the experience, or threatens safety may result in removal without refund.

  • Participants agree to respect room props, locks, and clues — no excessive force or dismantling of items.

  • Food, drinks, and prohibited substances are not allowed in the escape rooms.

  • For safety reasons, recording devices may not be used to capture puzzle solutions.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Groups of under 16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+)

  • Groups of under 16s numbering more than six must be accompanied by two responsible adults (18+)

  • e.g. Group of 8 kids aged 12 - will need two adults

  • Ideally two adults 1 male, 1 female

  • Accompanying adults must remain on site at all times during game-play and any arranged activities following (use of function room)

  • Adult supervision must fit one of the following:

    • Adult in-room: An adult participates inside the escape room with the group.

    • Adult on-site: An adult remains in the facility, available at all times, and must be able to promptly assist if needed.

  • We require a minimum of 1 adult per [6] children

  • Staff do not count as supervision and are not responsible for the behaviour or safety of minors.

  • The booking adult assumes responsibility for:

    • Conduct of the group

    • Ensuring rules are followed

    • Any damages caused by the group

    • Ensures that if they are not accompanying the group, designated adults are made aware of these guidelines

CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS

  • Accompanying / supervising adults must read our Participation & Liability Agreement on behalf of under 16s before the game begins

  • Any relevant medical information regarding the supervision / safety of the children is the responsibility of the accompanying adult(s)

    • e.g. epipens, epilepsy, behavioural issues, other relevant medical info

  • Emergency contact details for the group is the responsibility of accompanying adult(s)

LATE ARRIVALS & CANCELLATIONS

  • Groups are encouraged to arrive in good time prior to their time-slot (5mins)

  • Late arrivals may reduce game time or result in an agreed rescheduling - refunds for late arrivals where a full 60 minutes would impact on the next time-slot will be offered in the form of a voucher

  • With approval, a group missing one or two members due to lateness, can make a start on the game - and when other members arrive they will be permitted to join in

  • CANCELLING is an option - refunds will be offered in the form of a rescheduling voucher

SAFETY & EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

  • ALL participants / customers / visitors on site, must follow staff instructions in the event of an emergency / reason to evacuate the building

  • The escape rooms are fitted with emergency door release buttons - players / participants can leave at any time

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

  • By booking a time-slot ALL participating / supervising adults acknowledge that they have read these guidelines and are in agreement.
