Escape Rooms
By definition the term ‘escape room’ implies that you are in a room from which you must escape.
There, solved it. Well, not quite.
In order to ‘escape’ you must find clues, solve puzzles, open locks, complete an objective… then escape - before the allotted time runs out.
All escape rooms have a theme or a story line. These are designed to keep you immersed and invested in your adventure.
Puzzles are related to the theme and aesthetic of the adventure.
Your task - as a TEAM - is to SCORE: Search - Communicate - Organise - Rethink - Escape.
Just In Tyne Escape is located on Gosforth High Street - opposite the first ever Greggs!
We are unique because we are unique! There are no other escape rooms in Gosforth. Our venue is ideally located, central to Gosforth, easily accessible, with our front entrance in between Oxfam and Thorpes.
We have two escape rooms (at the moment!) - The Detention and A Brief Case.
Both games can accommodate groups of 2-8.
The Detention is better suited to those groups new to escape rooms - BUT it can be set up to suit ALL experience levels. This game has a simple objective: escape before the headteacher comes back!
A Brief Case - our new game - is more challenging. Whereas The Detention is a linear escape room, A Brief Case is definitely more non-linear. Groups will certainly be tested on their puzzle solving skills as well as their teamwork.
We recommend - if new - to play The Detention before attempting A Brief Case.
