  4. St James’ Park - stadium tour of our beloved football team

  5. Visit the Quayside - soak it all in - enjoy a wander along the riverside - The Baltic - may as well nip across the millennium bridge to see the artwork in display in Gateshead’s old flour mill. See if you can photograph our beautiful bridges spanning the River Tyne!

  6. City Farm / 7 Stories - Ouseburn - so many places to visit in this area of Newcastle

  7. Flea Circus / Star & Light Cinema - perhaps not on everyone’s list of things to do but you never know what you might find in a flea market (Warwick Street)

  8. Great North Museum: Hancock - a fantastic building with fantastic exhibits and a superb planetarium - well worth it

  9. The Gate - plenty to do / see inside and nearby the glass-fronted building. Whilst there, you might be interested to wander the streets to discover more about Newcastle’s history. Lane 7 next door to The Gate is well-worth a visit if you’re keen on games!

  10. Exit Newcastle escape rooms - Westgate Road - thoroughly recommend this city centre based escape rooms - family friendly games as well as 1 or 2 ‘not for the feint' hearted’ games…!
